New Colt Model of 1911 - this nearly exact copy is a limited edition "1 of 750" of the famous 1918 Army procurement for the Doughboys. They called it the "Black Army" because of the unique flat black finish, black long-trigger, and black barrel.
Note also the Model of 1911 does not have finger cut outs on the frame, at the trigger like the 1911A1's many of us shot in the service, and are always on modern 1911s now. This gun is accurately based on the original 1918 Army contract Browning and Colt production specifications but with a modern "Series 70" firing/safety system.
This is a NIB: one black mag, Colt box, Series 70 Manual, etc.
$1,100.00, or trade plus cash for a high-end government model .45 (no stainless or nickel please) like Ed Brown, Nighthawk or Wilson.
