Production prototype of the Colt Series '70 MkIV .45 acp. Is technically a "pre-70" but fitted with the "Accurizer" collet bushing like '70 Series. Hand built to test new production techniques; rare. Serialized as such on barrel and frame "BB." "Pre-70" Commercial production was stopped June 1970, this one was made Jan. '70 I believe. It is a recognized C&R gun by BATF so I can ship directly to and 03 FFL, and needs to be recorded in your bound book if purchased by an 03 FFL holder.
98% or more original blue, scratch on r. frame aft of grip, minor wear on some high points. Has period correct Colt Sandblast Walnut grips.
