This is an early (1972 production) .357 Colt Python with the desirable 2 ½ barrel, and Colts Magnificent Royal Blue finish. The pistol has the early style checkered wooden factory grips with gold-plated Colt medallions.
The pistol is in really great condition, very slight turn marks on the cylinder, and a tiny holster wear mark on the left side of the barrel near the muzzle, and finish condition is 90-95%. The early-style factory grips are original and have been in the colt box and were taken off the revolver when new and just put back on for this sale. The python had colt rubber grips put on and was a LEO carry revolver for a year before being put in a safe for the past 29 years. The bore on this Python is near-mint, shiny and strong rifling. Its a Python, so double action trigger pull is smooth as butter!
I do not have the box or paper work so revolver only sale.
$1,650 FTF with bill of sale.
No trades please.
