I have a hi-standard model "A" with a 5 1/4 in barrel I believe it was made in the early 1940's. For a description I would rate it about 90% only because I had to replace a recoil spring and accidentally scratched the top of the slide, I still could not knock out the 60+ year old pin so it is currently in a gun shop being repaired. As for bluing I would rate it 98-99%. It worked 100% before the recoil spring malfunctioned. I will be getting the slide back by tomorrow, the only reason I want to sell this is because I have two 22 pistols and I wanted to trade this for something in a bigger cartridge.
I also have a s&w 32 long first hand ejector (30%) that I will throw in for a good gun or, $200 or trade with high standard.
