Time for us to use the feedback option and educate CNN. Reporter Randi Kaye hosts two segments on the Oklahoma thugs, showing a video of Edwards with a firearm. In one she refers to it as an assault weapon, in the other a shotgun.

Then flood their email with corrections on the assault weapon comment.


Edit: I hadn't paid attention to the muzzle, appears to be shotgun. The side view here looked like scoped rifle.

its a bolt action, so its very unlikely to be a shot gun and apparently its gangster to own a hunting rifle. oh and you'll have to look closely to see that they are pretending to talk on the phone with money in their hands.

Well, there are two videos and in the first the reporter refers to the firearm as an assault weapon so apparently she has given bolt action firearms (5 shots or less?) a promotion. Wonder how Feinstein and our local dipstick are going to weave that into their next proposal.

It could easily be a shotgun, each of my brothers grew up shooting .410 bolt action shotguns. There are a number of manufactures that make them, Marlin, Mossberg and Browning have made or are still making them.

They pretty much say that any long gun that was not made for legitimate hunting is an assault weapon.
