OK starting 2-1-16 the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship program) will be selling WWII M-1 Carbines -Service Grade for $ 685 + free shipping . How does that sound for deal ? Of course you can't specify the brand so you get what you get ! -Apparently they are very nice condition. Just wondering if it' worth it to try and get one ?:s0043:

So how does this work with the new Oregon law? Can you still have it mailed to your home. The CMP website says that WA, NY, NJ, and CT. customers need to send dealer information but does not mention Oregon.

I'd rather buy a repatriated one from Korea for $300.00 and fix it up myself. at nearly $700.00 they are just about retail without knowing what your getting.

The CMP website says these are now SOLD OUT. Don't know how many they had, but they sure didn't last long.
