    Remington Rand annealed those areas with molten lead being pored on critical areas. That's why those oily spots show up.
    By far the best 1911's to come out of the war.

    no if your going to buy this use it as a collectors or a investment buy a kimber or a springfield custom carry dont ruin this piece of history please. or better yet get this and buy a glock 30 or 21
