    UP AGAIN!
I am selling this incredibly sophistocated GPS I bought back in August. I wanted something to get into geocaching w/ the family & went all out on this unit from DeLorme. It does some amazing stuff w/ over laying actual satellite imagery on the maps.

Unfortunately, my wife can't figure it out, so Im getting a more basic model now. We used this to find 3 caches I think.

EVERYTHING as new--I didn't even use the free year of map downloads. Not a scratch on it anywhere. Comes w/ 4 map cds, 1 DVD w/ mapping software, 1GB sd memory card, manuals, etc.

I paid $329 on sale at REI, but looking around today, they can be had for around $300 or so.

$230 OBO shipped insured usps or FTF around Salem.

    possible trades:
12 gauge o/u shotgun, .223 (no Wolf/steel stuff) or .40 ammo, other cool stuff (by my definition of cool) :)
ps-posted on other sites as well. First pm/email gets this.
    Thanx!

How well does the unit handle staying locked onto reliable sat signals in heavy woods and canyons? The last hand-held GPS I owned was only good in open fields.

It does pretty good-I used this to find several Geocaches (one of which hadn't been found by the past 5 or 6 people), all in the woods. One reason I chose it based on reviews was its ability to pick up a signal in terrain.
