It's different in the southThat is who I am talking about. Unless its changed the last times I flew with a gun I had to go see one of the TSA people once I got past the check in people. Some of them are CLEARLY anti gun. The one time I had some MORON who I am not sure what he was supposed to be doing. He overheard me tell the check in guy I had a firearm I needed to check. After being told I could not fly with a gun checked and was waiting for a supervisor with a brain this moron was standing back there telling anyone who would listen "THIS GUY WANTS TO FLY WITH GUN!!!" He had a few others in line giving me sideways looks. As soon as someone with who came equipped with a brain showed up it was a snap. I walked away thinking how long it could have taken if that one with the brain was not there that day. It was the last time I bothered trying to check a gun through. Told Wife from now on some guns will get shipped ahead. I don't care if it costs a few bucks.
