Meta tags - key words buried in the non-visible portion of the web page.
Bots catalog that stuff too, so when someone from South Africa searches for a EarGeSplittenLoudenBoomer rifle and you have that tag in your ad, it will likely appear high in their search.

I went to update my adds and can not find the tag line under the edit button.

I can't remember how to get to the management area, but if you go to a classified and click on one of the tags, it will take you to a screen where you can "watch tag"
