For sale is a well used Remington 740 Woodsmaster rifle chambered in 30-06. I believe it was manufactured in the 1950s and it shows it age. The rear sight was removed to mount the scope, the front sight remains. Forend was cracked in two when I received the rifle and I used gorilla epoxy to glue it back together. I have put very few rounds through but enough to know the rifle functions well and the epoxy job still appears tight. 40 rounds of 30-06 ammo will be included in the sale. Asking $200 cash. I have one just like it and was my go-to gun for hunting in Alaska. Killed lots of Yakutat moose, Kodiak deer and Afognak elk. The short barrel makes it easy to pack through heavy brush. If I didn't already have one, I'd be all over it.
