    Almost right.

Cinco de Mayo—or the fifth of May—commemorates the Mexican army’s 1862 victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). A relatively minor holiday in Mexico,

It should be renamed, "Drinko de Mayo".

I'll take extra honey-mustard, hold the mayo. :D

I celebrated Veintiuno de Abril...with Whiskey and a big T-bone.

" Battle of San Jacinto Day" (April 21) ... Sam Houston kicked Santa Anna's butt

Turned that pompous little a$$ into the quivering little man he truly was, begging for his life. They should've cut his greasy little head off and stuck it on a pike. o_O

Sounds kind of racist not wanting to celebrate that one time the Mexicans beat up on the French folks :D

two beers with dinner just like always. The holiday has no meaning for me. Happened before any of my known family came to this country. And the event hasn't had an effect on us since except to change a few TV commercials and to screw up traffic in a few places.

Sutter Home Pinot Noir. I'm sure the grapes were picked by Mexican field workers.
