For your consideration, a Chilean Mauser, model 1895, converted to 7.62x51 ( has import marks showing it.) These were converted with a chamber insert and I believe re-barreled. These are quite rare, and are very cool pieces of history. There are other ones out there similar, but hard to find.
It is recommended to shoot low pressure 7.62x51 ammunition through this firearm, as the original 7x57 has a smaller chamber pressure than the 7.62x51 round. (45K vs 60+K). I have seen others shoot normal .308 ammunition without issues, but it is not recommended.
I am interested in trades as well for other firearms. This is a very cool piece of history!
