I think we all know there are a ton of cheapo laser engravers out there. For me, doing laser engraving costs the time I have off from work as I work the same hours as a business engraves. That adds up FAST. Has anyone had success with their own laser engraver? My price point is fairly fluid as I could definitely use it for other purposes. (I used to make a lot of custom guitars, and I also make custom knives, so a laser engraver makes sense. But the NFA engraving seems like it would be the most demanding task.
I could use this for some really cool stuff outside of the NFA engraving, but reaching 200% of ATF standards in coated aluminum would be a must.
