I'm looking for a cheaper 1911 ($300-$400) like a Rock Island or similar in .45 ACP only. I have a Walther P-22 I can trade for it plus up to $100. Let me know what you guys have!

I can attest to the American Classic II. It is made by Metro Arms. I personally would not do business with anyone who calls himself an FFL and does not know what MFG made a gun he is selling.

Anyway the ACII is a great gun for the money. MY blued ACII was 500 out the door. For the moeny a good value.

    Accurate
Looks good, I put Chip McCormick thin profile grips on mine.
    Fun to shoot
Eats everything I have run in, mostly 230 grain hardball and 200 grain LSWC
