Which do you have?

Do you like it? Why?

Costs?

I think I'm narrowed down to 3.

MDT XRS

KRG Bravo

CZs chassis kit, which I think is MDT, but I'm not sure which one. With a Fab defense stock.

I had whittled my search down to the Bravo and the LSS RF. I went with the LSS.

What ultimately decided it for me is that I am sharing this rifle with my wife. As much as I like shooting in general, I really value the fact that my wife enjoys shooting and this is her favorite gun I've built so far. Here's the thing though, I'm 5'7" with a 5'11" wingspan and she's 5'0 with maybe 4'11 or 4'10. We have different LOP preferences and cheek weld preferences. I have the threads marked where we both like it for quick adjustments.

So, the adjustability on the stock was important. The folding adapter is nice and made traveling with this thing easier.

I've got a couple of different grips that we tried and we found the MDT one works well for both of us, but having that adjustability was important.

I like that there are mlok slots as far to the rear as possible. I'm designing a shell holder for .22rf to go in that list slot and extend to the chamber because I've found that I kind of like single shot loading - just wish the rounds were closer to my hand.

The whole package is a heavy SOB, and more rigid than a blue pilled porn star. Shooting unsupported is just not a thing with this gun - it needs the bipod, a bag, a knee…

If I were to do it again, I'd probably get this one again. It's not one of your top 3, but if you ever want to check it out in person before plopping money down, shoot me a pm. I'm happy with MDT's manufacturing and support as a company.

Each time you post that thing I can't help but think you were out in some mythical forest getting too close to two unicorns going at it.

I can't tell if that LSS RF is the same as the one CZ lists on their site. The CZ one looks to have a longer forend.

That's exactly what happened. Was out hunting jackalope, stalked past two unicorns and spooked em right as it was … finishing. There was a tear in the spacetime continuum, glitter everywhere. And, well, splatter…everywhere….God himself appeared to laugh and go "ah skeet skeet skeet muthafuka".

And that is how this:

Became that.

ETA, as soon as I get a slide for this guy, I'm going out hunting with @LuckySG again :).

That looks cool. Like the built in rail as part of the frame. Wonder what that lever is for right above the grip?
Thumb rest per the website. Looks awkward though as most are just built into the grip.

.... after getting Rainbow Dash in the boiler room?

It aint cheap at around $1200 in its lightest configuration but.. love XLR element magnesium 4.0 on my 6.5 prc

Im mainly a hunter and ive had a 13lb mdt chassis rifle before but it was way too heavy for my purposes

I love it because its everything anyone likes in a chassis but ultralight like a sporter hunting stock. Its like 30oz with the folding adapter. The integrated level behind the bolt and built in arca rail along the bottom of the entire foreend is a very nice update for the 4.0 as well

Someday i may have suppressed weapon systems build me an integrally suppressed rifle 300 prc with the same chassis, recently got a quote but went with the new SBD from black collar arms instead. Im sure I'll love the pork sword but i already know I'll be tempted to see if i could drop weight by putting that 375 raptor action in an xlr if it'll fit too lol
