The ranges I frequent are primarily West Coast Armory and Snoqualmie Valley Rifle Club.

Mid 40's, still have hair, beer belly option inflated, unemployed at the time, I consider myself a good family man and already taken

Looks doable. The emery tool along with a swift action along the slot takes out just a little bit of material at a time. So long as I don't dwell too much at one place.
