Call up Ruger and ask them.
Better yet, buy another GP100. You can't have too many.

"Extra" barrel for a non Dan Wesson revolver?
That's odd.
Installing a barrel on a revolver is pretty much a one time deal/considered semi permanent.. as there can be a fair amount of metal "crush" factor and hand fitting involved.

Have no experience with revolvers, I did see a Dan Wesson Kit for sale (for a fortune), and a NOS barrel for sale that got me thinking maybe it would not be too hard. Thanks for the education!
