Just took a short trip up the Washington coast and spent the night in South Bend on the Willapa river. It's a lovely spot and the day was perfect. That evening was magic! The river was bright silver and we dined on Willapa Bay oysters while watching the fishing activity on into the night! Of course we woke up in a freakin' rain forest next morning! Falling liquid aside, you folks that live in the region are very fortunate. It is one of the prettiest areas I have ever seen! Friendly folks too!
