Ceasefire Oregon Sent out Alert on current legislative session's gun bills....

I just sent out an email to about 25 Senators and Reps citing opposition to the curent sessions gun bills. Hopefully you folks will do the same. Ceasefire is pushing that this fight is "not now" over!

larry bell's op ed is titled "disarming Realities: As gun sales soar, gun crimes plummet" Published 5 14 2013.

In page 3 of his article he cites DOJ statistics that there is a 39 % reduction in gun-related homocides over the last 18 years (1993-2011) and a 69 % reduction in non-fatal firearm crimes.

Please take action and re-contact your Senators and
Reps to oppose gun bills 700, 347, 699 and 796. Thanks.
