CCW Class around Newport and Toledo areas.

Just blew in to town just over a week ago. I had a couple questions. First can anyone recommend a CCW Class in the area and second what are the requirements to get the license after training. I still have my Illinois drivers license and may have it for awhile longer until I get work lined up and get 135 so I can transfer my CDL. Do I have to have an Oregon ID to get my CCW or would Illinois work with suitable proof of residency? Thanks

I do believe you have to have Oregon proof of residency in your county before you can apply for the permit.
