Hey All, have to go pay my road tax today at the DEQ. Was wondering what the stance is on legal carry at the DEQ? I know that the DMV has a rule against with the exception of those who are licensed to carry concealed by the State of Oregon.

Does this same rule apply to the DEQ as well?

166.370 Possession of firearm or dangerous weapon in public building or court facility; exceptions; discharging firearm at school.
(3) Subsection (1) of this section does not apply to:
(d) A person who is licensed under ORS 166.291 and 166.292 to carry a concealed handgun.

You will see signs on the contrary though.

Referring to 166.360 which refers to definitions. :)

And a little searching:

And if you didn't know, you can use your Oregon permit for ID at the DMV.

Neither DMV nor DEQ shall ever know I'm sporting a piece on their turf lest I vapor lock and my shirt/jacket flips up when my melon hits the floor. Or if some whack-job slips a cog and starts attacking people. Either way, I'll have much bigger problems to resolve than not getting scoped by a complacent bureaucrat yearning for 4:00.
