While I LOVE seeing these numbers what I keep hoping to see next is a mass of the gun owning population to start voting with this in mind but its like herding cats.

IMO, constitutional carry should be the law nationwide. At that point the crime rate would really drop. Unfortunately, the bad guys are packing regardless of the laws they be breaking. All legal gun owners would have a "permit" to carry at that point. Many good folks don't carry because its either a hassle to get a permit and they do not want to break the law, or both. There should be no permit required to exercise a constitutional right. That, IMO, is common sense.

A few states have woke up on this, sadly not nearly enough. Problem is for this is we need voters who are not constantly shooting themselves in the foot or just refusing to bother to vote at all.
