CBS picture bite: states with highest firearm deaths per capita

    I find news bites like this truly distasteful. With each state, they list the deaths per 100,000 citizens, and then the firearm purchase laws.
    Note each state listed does not require permits for the purchase of a firearm, which is misleading.
    Grrr.

    Yes, states with more gun owners will have more people who choose to use them to opt out. WTF is CBS gonna cover next? More people die climbing Mt Hood in OR than TN?:rolleyes:

    That's odd :confused:...I thought progressives believed that ending a life early was a "pro-choice" kinda thing, and not murder...
    ...So, shouldn't suicides by gun be counted not as a murder, but as a "procedure"?

    It's certainly seems to be more an indictment of the Mental Health Industry's failure, than it is of gun laws.
