Carcano 91/24 1896-dated carbine 6.5x52

Carcano 91/24 carbine, manufactured in 1896 at the Terni arsenal. 6.5x52. Has a sealed/repaired crack in the stock. The handguard is also cracked (all pictured). Mechanically entirely functional, bore has decently defined lands and grooves and even some shine to it left. Only fired a box of PPU soft-point ammo through it. The rifle didn't group so well and did exhibit some key-holing, but PPU soft-points are reportedly undersized and don't shoot well with 91/24's so this may be more of a hand-loader's proposition, or an EXTREMELY cool antique wall hanger.
