1977. i can only imagine how many bazillion pieces of brass that ol boy has resized!!WEll, additional scrubbing revealed something I have heard about but never experienced - the carbide inner sleeve is cracked!
Looks like a new die is in order but I'll call RCBS and see what they say.
Yea and I have only had it for about 12 or so years as a hand me down given to me with a bunch of other reloading stuff!1977. i can only imagine how many bazillion pieces of brass that ol boy has resized!!
I don't expect it and only asked if they would sell me one at a discount as opposed to retail so we shall see!Wouldn't be a bit surprised if you have a new carbide sizer die provided free, under warranty from them headed your way soon.
No - I am sizing with a Bonanza Co-Ax press and the way it operates it has a 'stopping point' with the ram that prevents cam over.Do you cam over when sizing?
Ok. Another way to ask the question, are you making contact with the shell holder? No - I am sizing with a Bonanza Co-Ax press and the way it operates it has a 'stopping point' with the ram that prevents cam over.
Just barely - which is how a Co-Ax is suppose to be adjusted. I understand about this issue with other presses (such as my Rock Chucker) where there is nothing toare you making contact with the shell holder?
