Canted AR15 fsb and roll pins

How much did this jackoff rip you off for? John Thomas at Retro Arms Works did an 0.2" shim plus pin-and-weld on my 14.5" Colt M4 for $100 plus shipping, and you have to look real close to see what's Colt work and what's his.

@Velzey John got the nod because he's pretty much the King of Clone, and mine was for NFA compliance on a clone build. The shim was $20 of that.

Mighta been $100 with shipping the entire URG, I'd need to go back and check my records. @Velzey I have a not-clone project coming up that may need a P&W, and you're on the shortlist for that job already if it goes forward.

Big question though is would it still function with it canted and can it be zeroed?

The roll pins is what would grind my gears. If taper pins are too difficult then he shouldn't have been doing it.

As a closure to this thread, I took my rifle to velzey as so many of you suggested and I couldn't be happier with the results, the gunsmith who initially did this job had offered to attempt to fix the problem or replace the parts but instead of waiting a couple months to do so I did the latter.
