I too had an issue, oddly enough it fixed itself after a couple weeks of having to use a proxy. I think it may have been my NoScript or maybe some other addon I'm using with FireFox.

I recently had this issue as well. I went through all the troubleshooting techniques with my ISP. My computer could access the site from anywhere except home. I removed the router from the equation. I swapped out modems. I tried different browsers. The ISP reset the connection numerous times. Finally, I contacted the board admin. I gave him my IP address and asked him to have the forum's hosting service unblock my address from the firewall. -They got my home connection working again.

Working in the industry has it's advantages. I also had this issue, but unlike outrider it was modem related. I changed my modem, solved the issue. Try a full reset on you modem by pressing in the reset button using a ballpoint pen or other. Let your modem work through the reset process twice, you'll know because when you achieve reset the 1st time, the lights come on, continue to hold the reset button in until it cycles twice. If you are using a wireless, you will need to re-enter the wireless pass code again, as this also resets. on most this is the WPA code and it usually contains both upper and lower case letters and a series of numbers. If you don't mind me asking, what modem/router are you using, and who is the provider? PM sent.

I couldn't see the site either from anything connected with my home network, but I could see it just fine on my "smart" phone (that's a topic for another thread)... turns out my old Linksys wireless router went rogue and started blocking all sorts of URLs... I replaced my router and here I am!

Generally the WAVE resales others services, such as Centurylink etc. They use a PPPOE configuration on most accounts. My money is on the modem/router.

If desired, I can help you using a technology called join.me where we do a computer "conference", I can see your screen as you do stuff, and try to help you diagnose the problem. It might take about 10-25 min to investigate a few things.

I still have a 1911 on my radar, so trade my tech skills for your input on a couple of 1911's I am considering?...

PM me if desired and we can set something up...

    Peter

Meh, it was probably because you're ugly, dress real funny, have one leg shorter than the other, and you logged on with the lights out so you wouldn't scare your 'puter. ;)
