Tomorrow in the Canadian Parliament the ruling Liberal party is preparing for the final reading of bill c-71. .
The most dangerous thing in Bill C71 is the power to reclassify firearms, to be left in the hands of the Canadian firearms Program with no political oversight or interference. What gets reclassified is up to them and when that happens is up to them as well. If the firearms is made prohibited then only current owners will be allowed to keep their property but once they die the rifle must be sold to another collector or it gets destroyed. Eventually as the prohibited owners die off the rifle will disappear.
This is a slow strangling death for Canadian firearms owners who already jump through hoops to obtain a firearms licence. While our community is quite vocal in our opposition to this bill our federal Government insists on completing this great social engineering experiment.
This removal of rights from honest hardworking Canadian citizens should serve as a warning to all our brothers who value freedom. Do not allow your rights to be eroded at all costs and remember that freedom does require vigilence
