Can search results be shown by posted date newest to oldest?

When I do a search I get results that fit my criteria but the posted dates are scattered all over the place. It makes it hard to find the newest posts as those are the ones that I'm probably going to get the est results with.

Use the "Advanced" Option in search and you can sort by date.

There's also a setting in your account preferences which you can set to make the change permanent for the quick search box.
