Can I used Federal 210 Large Rifle Primers to Reload 8mm Mauser Ammo (boxer primed Nosler brass)?

I will start reloading 8mm (7.92 x 57) Mauser ammo. I ordered Nosler 8mm Mauser brass cases (boxer primed), so I was wondering if I could use Federal 210 large rifle primers for my reloads? I understand the difference between military-grade Berdan-primed and Boxer-primed ammo, respectively. Since it is hard to find Berdan primers and they are also difficult to be de-primed, I will only reload with boxer primers using boxer-primed brass. I have a lot of Federal 210 primers that I have been using for my 30-06 reloading, so I would like to keep using them for the 8mm Mauser reloading.

Perfect. I just got back for a 2-week road trip around the Mountain West and will start reloading some 8mm Mauser ammo.

8mm is large rifle brass... Fed 210 is large rifle primer....


Protip you can even use large rifle magnum primers ( Fed 215 )

You cannot use small rifle primers in 8x57 because its a small rifle primer ...
