I'm looking to pick something up on Gunbroker and this would be the first time I've purchased a firearm out-of-state. As I understand it, the process is to work with a local FFL dealer who will receive the weapon and then perform the necessary background check, do the paperwork, etc., before handing it over to me. Is that accurate?

If so, are there any Portland-based FFLs you could recommend for this, with whom you've had good experiences?

Thanks.

As of now, that is going to be really hard. Almost all FFL's are putting holds on online purchases due to the insane wait times which most likely has them holding onto property for what could be a month or more.. Id start asking FFLS directly as day by day each FFL is coming out with their new 12/7-8/22 rules before this 114 mess goes into full gear.
