Can anyone identify this case?

    Moved to a smaller house and downsizing, just posted this case to Craigslist. I got it from a friend of mine that's a retired Marine, not sure what it was previously used for. Anyone (maybe a 1980's era Marine) identify it?

    Ooh, that's neat. Not that I need it.. I'm sure it's worth that/you'll get that.
    I'd look close for any sort of markings.

    There is a spot where there was a paper label on the inside, but it is gone. Nothing else...

    Yep, I called it. It's a standard issue battalion convenience case. Note how the imitation fur lining is missing from around the orifice.
