North Fork crossing campground. This is on the way up to Squaw butte on the upper north fork of the clackamas river. Fairly close to you area, beautiful country. If you head up to Squaw lakes, fish the small stream coming into the lake. It has many Brook trout. The lake is shallow and doesn't offer much. WATCH THE WEATHER if you head up to the lake, your up high before dropping down to it, and both ways out are back up. You can get trapped by snow at this time of the year, but at the campground at northfork crossing you should be fine.
