In response to a motion from the California Department of Justice, US District Court Judge Roger Benitez, who issued a permanent injunction against enforcement of California's "high capacity" magazine ban, has just issued a stay of his own injunction. That means that the window for ordering standard capacity magazines is closing.

His order goes into effect at 5:00pm Pacific time on Friday, April 5. You can read the full order here, but this is the relevant portion:
BREAKING: California Judge Reinstates 'High Capacity' Magazine Ban As of 5pm Friday - The Truth About Guns

maybe some one has dirt on this guy?

There is nothing fishy going on. When the losing side plans to appeal the decision to a higher court they routinely request that the judge stay their decision pending the appeal. Protocol is to first ask the judge(s) who made the decision to stay their own decision. If judge Benitez had denied the request the California AG would have next asked the 9th Circuit to stay the decision pending the appeal, and that stay might not have protected Californians who had already bought or ordered "high capacity" magazines. Judge Benitez stayed his own decision in a way that allowed people to keep magazines that they had ordered before 5 PM Friday.

WOW that meaning to the word "infringed" must be up to 20 pages long in Websters by now. In Idaho a 18 year old can carry concealed without a permit. In CA you have to drag a lawyer and a law clerk around with you to buy a box of .22LR's In NYNY you can buy a pistol but you can't get it to your house and if you do it can never come back out. In Oregon the Morons are trying to out do everyone.
