*sigh* Congress did not ban the study of gun violence. The banned the CDC from using federal money to pay for anti-gun propaganda. So add SF Chronicle to another long line of either incompetent or lying media.

They are owned by Hearst Corp who has donated to Hillary Clinton. huh, how about that

Remember after Newtown Obama ordered the CDC to start researching gun violence again? That was 3 years ago.

I wasn't aware of the CDC restrictions and wonder how many others have the same impression. Just goes to show that if you repeat a lie enough times. people start to believe it.

CommieFornia is Socialist, anti-gun, and elitist- this tax-funded gun study will yield predictable results, the ones Der Furher Jerry Brown, his bubblegum Kamala Heinrich Harris and the other brownshirt SS congressmen want to hear. It's the gun's fault, because it can spit out more than one bullet at a time, that it makes people evil and want to kill and commit crime, and that taking guns away from people will automatically make them want to be good. This empirical, unbiased, and highly reputable data will come from well-paid 'experts' and University professors with doctorates in behavior, socialogy, Theology, and Women's Studies- all of whom have never fired a gun.

The CommieFornia National Socialists will use this 'study' to back their legislation to eventually ban all guns in the state for citizens- of course only the law-abiding citizens will be stripped of their weapons. Naturally all of the criminals and Muslim extremists who possess automatic weapns will read this study, decide the Democrats are correct and surrender all of their weapons voluntarily to law enforcement as well. And they all lived happily ever after. The End.

Its difficult to even find a good summary on what actually happened that does not come from a biased source. Even if you google for the truth all of the first page of links lists that the CDC is banned from research.

This article seems to be a good summary but its difficult to know if you are getting the truth on the subject anymore
