Cali gun hating politicians would likely be surprised to learn that criminals don't buy new guns & therefore would not be subject to these taxes. This type of law can only hurt the victims

Although there is only a little over two weeks left in the legislative session, California AB28 has a fairly good chance of passing this year. It will add an 11% tax to all firearms, components and ammunition. This is on top of state/local sales tax and the Federal Excise Tax, bringing the total tax of a firearm to around 30%. Then you add in BGC fees. Oregon and Washington will undoubtedly follow suit. Once again, the left is waging war on our Constitutional rights.
