I have always preferred anything straight wall to bottleneck however I do enjoy loading .30-30 as it is a favorite caliber, I experiment a lot with it and don't shoot it high volume so I take a little more time when loading it to ensure consistency for maximum accuracy.

The 30-30 in a falling block single shot, using pointed projectiles, is skookum!

.40 SW, easier to run through a progressive than 9mm or .45 acp or .357. less force to resize and seat bullet

Also pistol in general is easier than rifle cases

.223 because it's relatively cheap to load and can be extremely accurate. Lots of variations from 34gr explosive varmint rounds to heavier pills for hunting or long range. Kick is non-existent too.

9mm because it's the best pistol caliber. Ever. It's a well known fact that operators can't operate with any other caliber. So there's that.

That's why I'm a brain surgeon. Lobotomies for all !

Invest a little bit into casting and.38/.357 or 9mm can be loaded for less than 22 min mags. The payoff is greatest on the revolver cartridges which are pretty overpriced for what they are (economy of scale since they aren't the most popular cartridges around like they once where)

.22 rimfire and 12 GA Shotgun are the only cartridges I use, don't reload and cast bullets for.
I reload .458 SoCom for .35 a round and don't count the price of lead as I'm still sending my old S.C.U.B.A. weights down range. :D
