I'll tell you one thing, once you start wearing one, being woke from a deep sleep to perform spontaneous sex acts ENDS. Haven't been bothered for years!

Speak for yourself. Both the wife and I got machines at about the same time. With a little imagination and leaving the masks on, role playing elephants can be a lot of fun.

For all who may need to have assistance breathing at night.

I don't have a machine, the wife does.
There are many styles of masks / pillows etc.
Get your specialist to help you. Be nice. They might like a nice bottle of chianti ;-)

If the technician is not to your liking, ask for another.

Ask about options
- mouth guard (not the same as for sporty-ball)
- Head elevation ( like a hospital bed )

My wife resisted the head guard, over the nose, at first because she missed/mis-understood the training on fit. Talked to the technician on the phone, got the right way to adjust the headband, and now she loves the thing.
And I love it too. 10+ years of living with someone whose snoring could wake the dead, to just the occasional sound.
