Wow !!! That's an astonishing number.
The first "reports" said only 45 out of 48 rapes were by Muslims, guess they did a recount.

I think the funniest thing about that fact, is that it clearly isn't...

But maybe it adds some gravitas to your post

actually, if you want to pick out a country demonstrating the effects of religious radicalism and how it can drive the mentally unstable to commit horrific crimes, Norway might not be a bad place to start...

A number of rape victims who trusted the police have had accidents which may have discouraged other survivors to ID their victimizers as Muslim
But please, do continue your r-Type diatribe o_O

Your referring to the recently self confessed mass murdering Socialist who stated that his Manifesto was written, by him, to indict ' social conservetives'?
Yeah I'm all over that as of last year; the linkage between Muslim Collectivists and Left Wing Collectivists has a very long history and easily demonstrated history
The default position of all Collectivists is genocide.
(nice try)

btw your on ignore now

In the 1940's we fought the evil creation behind the "master race"; in 2014 we are fighting the evil creation behind the "master faith".
Imagine if America had offered the Nazis the same open door that Obama is offering to Muslims

Which "same open door" the ineffective leadership? The complete lack of systematic strategic planning?

If you think we went to war with the Nazis because no one liked them here in the US, that's a poor misappropriation of history. We went to war with the nazis because hitler declared war on us. We went to war with japan after they attacked pearl harbor.

The state of things in the 1940's were very much different than today. Many industrialists and celebrities including Henry Ford, and Charles Lindberg were major proponents of the Nazi Party. There was a major drive to keep the US out of the war after the waste and horror we had become involved in at the behest of the french and british. At the same time, the existential threat of belligerent fascism in europe did not go as unnoticed in the halls of the whitehouse as the belligerence of jihadist islam has today.

For the moment, and likely for the forseeable future, militant islam will never metastasize itself into an existential threat to the worlds only hyperpower, it simply can't, there are not enough resources, both real and technical for it to mount a challenge, conventional or otherwise. The militant islam we are seeing currently is a supply side war, that features fanatics going into combat with a minimum of training to be martyred. Not only is that unsustainable as a strategy, it will fix the "supply side" eventually.

At the same time, I do not advocate a policy of ignorance or pacifism towards militant islam. However, the simple approach is ineffective and will continue to be ineffective against a complex threat. Treating muslims as a monolithic block is kinda like treating hispanics, blacks, christians, catholics, jews, pagans, hippies, and every other definable minority, whether religious, ethnic, geographic or economic as a single block. Doing so leads to the same identity politics practiced by the democrats, that ultimately undermines the foundations of pluralistic western democracies.

A "no muslims" policy is a Maginot line, not only is it costly to maintain, but it's easily bypassed.

I'm actually curious if you read that [article]?

While I disagree with many of his assertions, I wouldn't call his "manifesto" the work of a madman or religious extremist, any more than I would call "Industrial Society and It's Future" (aka the unabom manifesto) a document of extremism. IS (Industrial society and it's future) may be one of the more prophetic documents I've read, as it is pretty much a roadmap towards the surveillance state, and the march towards totalitarianism we have seen in the US since 9/11. Without the bombings, Ted Kaczynski likely would have become remembered as a Nobel prize winning mathematician, not a kook who lived in a shack and mailed bombs to people.

What I believe is common in both cases, is the lack of alternatives to violence. You have Brevik and Kaczynski, who while they come from very different worlds see no possibility of the change they want without violence. Thus it becomes a propaganda of the deed, while at the same time it can be understood in the same respect that even cornered animals will use whatever violence is necessary to either destroy their attacker or get away. Humans are subject to the same biological heritage as dogs.

At the other extreme, you have ISIS, which formed out of a want to be aggressive, take territory, treasure and women. I personally would argue that the philosophy of ISIS is thin and encompasses little more than regional aspirations to money, women and power in a place that has few of these things. Which lends credence to my theory of a "supply side war".

Again, there are no simple answers, if society worked perfectly it would address the concerns of Brevik, Kaczynski, al Baghdadi, and Nadal Hassan in the same breath. The problem is, when society becomes polarized to these levels, conflict will not remain civil for long and usually the punctuation to well thought out arguments will be shots fired in anger.

As one who had family in the American Bund I feel pretty secure in my knowledge of pre-war American history. Your conveniently speaking as if you had not read the article please return to Mother Jones web site for further instruction. Our conversation is over

Was listening to Lars today and they were talking about extremist being called upon to look up military members and their families and start attacking them, this is bad for two reasons 1. The obvious. 2. Brcause as they do this the vast majority would probably retaliate against all muslims thus creating more hate against Americans and creating more extremist. Helping to sell the muslim caliphate.
I know a few muslims. I grew up with them and they are the most peaceful and caring people, However, you can't fight facts that extremist are going to be muslims and the number of them will grow and become more violent and attacks will be more common.

It's not any different than any other gang in the US.

Say that you get a tempting offer from a Nigerian prince and decide to invest some money in helping him transfer his vast fortune from Burkina Faso or Dubai over to the bank across the street. The seemingly simple task of bringing over the 18 million dollars left to him by his father hits some snags which require you to put in more and more of your own money.

Eventually you have invested more than you ever would have ever done up front just trying to protect the money that you already sank into Prince Hussein Ngobo's scheme. And to protect your self-esteem, you go on believing that no matter what Prince Ngobo does, he is credible and sincere. Any failings in the interaction are either your fault or the fault of some third party. Anyone who tells you otherwise must be a Ngobophobe.

Now imagine that Prince Ngobo's real name is Islam.

That is where Western elites find themselves now. They invested heavily in the illusion of a compatible Islamic civilization. Those investments, whether in Islamic immigration, Islamic democracy or peace with Islam have turned toxic, but dropping those investments is as out of the question as writing off Prince Ngobo as a con artist and walking away feeling like a fool.
It's not insanity; it's the term that rhymes with a certain river in Egypt. The Brotherhood's victory discredited the Arab Spring, which discredits the bid for Arab Democracy, which discredits the compatibility of Islam and the folks on Fifth Avenue. Follow the river back along its course and suddenly the Clash of Civilizations becomes an undeniable fact. It's easier to give up and let the river of denial carry you further along until, five years from now, you find yourself explaining why Al-Qaeda ruling America is actually a good thing for everyone.

You have not been paying attention to the Real News... Of ISIS.

Do a Web Search on RUN MINISTRIES... Which is providing respite to All who are being ~discriminated~ against, by the 'Oh So Wonderful Muslims, within ISIS. /end sarcasm...

As to the main topic: with converts outside of the Arab ethnicity, and the Practice of Taqiyya, or "the use of deception by Muslims, towards Non-Muslims" she will never really know.

For a Jihadi, Taqiyya, permits them to eat Pork, drink Alcohol, literally Any Deception, is Alright, with their god, allah... If it is to better islam.

Nuff said. The above is Truth, and can be located @

Again, this is a gross oversimplification. You can build a big wall around everything you find precious to keep everything else out. That's fine, until someone comes along and fills it with water.

Conflating the crisis of leadership the west faces with the threat of islam pretty much has nothing to do with the original post.

What we need is a policy of engagement, whether that engagement takes the form of dialog and diplomacy, or target engagement is a matter I am completely agnostic about. However there are simply not enough resources to engage in a genocidal war against islam, so make all the statements you want to about how muslims are the bogey man. It's much easier to play a game of whack-a-mole when I have the locals telling me where the mole is.

1. Non-firearm political discussion is prohibited.
There are many different people here with many different opinions, ideologies, and viewpoints. Like religion, discussing these issues here is likely to offend others or cause division within the community. We need to focus on the topic that brings us together, not issues that are all but certain to divide us. This rule applies to the site in its entirety.

11. Religious discussion and material is prohibited.
Everyone has their own beliefs, whether they be extremely devout or believe in nothing at all. This community welcomes everyone, no matter their beliefs. Since this topic has very little to do with firearms and a great potential to offend others, it's best that we leave it alone.
