I don't mind people using turn signals AND hand signals (though I've never actually seen THAT in my 27 years of having a motorcycle endorsement), it's when their usage of both (while their bike is already in the garage) blocks out the signals used by bikers that are still on the road, that it becomes a problem.

A couple of us are talking about this in the mod section and the opinion is that 14.2 does indeed mean that an ad can't be bumped to the top without breaking the rule if the bump is sooner than seven day.

There is nothing that says it's OK to bump your ad if the item has sold.

We are of course interested in what the members think so please post a comment if you agree or even if you disagree. Thank you.

I agree they should not be bumped. There is no reason to bubble it up just to say it's sold. The title should be marked "SOLD" in the original post and the thread closed.

My $.02

2 Examples of a complete waste of space.

1 Open your thread back up.

2 Delete your last post.

3 Close add.

Now its back where it was.....and page 1 is clear of your useless clutter:s0026:

My opinion?

The OP doesn't know how to edit the thread and close it without bumping to top. Simple ignorance.

I tend to give credit to those that do this as a matter of "I didn't know!", rather than bumping a closed thread from egocentric malfeasance.

However this is but my opinion.

Be well,
Will
