I hope that's not an expensive barrel
Don't know of a barrel that isn't. I am going to try to be cool with this and only use my 20 round mag the gun came with and wait between mag dumps. I am soon to get the Smith m&P 15-22 and that is what I am going to leave it on. I would hate to ruin this barrel b/c this ar shoots bugholes. Cant hurt a 22 barrel.
You won't, it's gonna take the cost of replacing the 3 to 4 thousand rounds you burned through in one day to even consider slowing down on mag dumps....... even then you still may not stop.
In the reviews I have seen they don't work on 22's. There is not enough recoil. Let us know if indeed it does work.
dont work? research is your friend!!\\\
damn this country has a weight problem lol
Lol at the 1:30 mark he remembers what those glasses are for!
almost forgot his ear plugs as well.. my research into the 15-22 bumpfire indicates that with the light recoil the timney single stage trigger for the ar is the ticket to get the 22 to rock. This is going to be my project for the summer. Will keep you guys posted here. I put a Timney on my 788 remington as the triggers on those things are worse than horrible.. What a sweet shooter that little 18 and1/2 inch barreled 308 is now. Topped with the 2x7 leupold vx3 it is my go to deer/elk slayer.
I have a Bumpfire Systems AR-15 Stock in my online shopping cart right now. The heavy barrel in my Ruger AR556 should be able to handle it.
cool! rock on.
Lisa Jean inspired me
that 100 round drum will kill a barrel in a hurry I bet!
She is inspiring..
My loins just twitched like a wounded lizard

Not really, but that would be cool.
Dang I should have done that with my son!
Just can't get into the bumpfire. I guess everything is in the eye of the beerholder, just not my thing. Enjoy your new toy!
