What do you have
are you looking for kevlar?
Yes for a osprey MK 4 tac vest
Are you planning on making a vest?
I have heard that sewing through the multiple layers can be a chore.
I have the vest already but it didn't come with the Kevlar inserts
Uh...don't be stupid, your not going to make ballistic inserts. Just go buy some from a company that has the know how to actually do it.
Lol thanks for the advice. Could you be more of a prick please. I would love it if you could come by my place and say that to my face tuff guy. This thread has nothing to do with you. Take your 2 cents and shove it.
Here is the vest if anybody has any leads on the Kevlar inserts that would be great
Believe me, I'd have NO PROBLEM telling you to your face to not to make a bad decision on trying to make your own soft armor inserts.
But with about 30sec of google foo, here is one place to buy the inserts for the vest.
Hey I guess you didn't bother to check the link you provided or you are blind.
They are sold out. Got any more useful advice smart guy?
I think you have a real problem or your drunk.
LMAO..... OK, this thread starts with "post #2". What happened to Post #1?
Deathdealer, have you worked out what "gauge" of Kevlar, and how many layers you would need to "laminate" (sew, etc) if you wind up going the DIY route? This is fascinating to me.
I say go far it. If you do find the material and make it, I think if nothing else I be interested in how you did it. I hate it when people say that won't work, or why would you do that, that's to hard to do, or that won't work. Screw em do it your way.
