@thorborg , look elsewhere. Their prices are a joke. F'rinstance;

or for the 10-22;

I run Wilson Tactical buffers in my Ruger SR1911 and my Randall. Even with a 21# recoil spring there is still contact. Not sure if the impact does any harm, but the buffer doesn't do any harm either. The buffer will get beat up after a few hundred rounds. Having broken a 1911slide, apparently from impact, I like the cheap insurance. I have modified them to fit my Star pistols as well. I also run buffers in my 10-22s. Softening the impact if there is one can't hurt anything.

Well that's the sort of Info I was hoping for. Not so much for assistance in recoil abatement, as mitigating a little part wear. I also figured that depending on the violence of any particular caliber firearm it would be a short term throwaway so the lower the cost the better, especially @ a "few hundred rounds" a cycle. Many quality arms over engineer hammering parts to extend life, but unfortunately not so much on some economy guns doing just enough to keep cost and /or weight down. Use on economy guns spurring my info seek. (especially those using sintered steel and cast parts)
Thanks @Lilhigbee .

Really? I would have thought it would have been made out of UHMW, but maybe not enough elastic memory I suppose.
I was thinking delrin but I'm not exactly a materials expert.

Also, to be fair there are guns with plastic buffers as a factory part. The S&W 21A for example.

EDIT: Missed the chance! I should have said don't let it bother you, my memory is not that elastic anymore either. :D
