Nice find on BCG. Shipping is a little steep. I will search around for free shipping or discount code.
Hang around a bit. You'll see that @arakboss does things many folks wouldn't.I honestly would say, I've never visited that site and be sure to check with others that the site is legitimate and people actually bought off from there
It might look like are too good to be true, however I've had no experiences with it at all,
Id personally suggest getting a complete prebuilt upper off ar15discounts or midwayusa
That plastic AR looks way nicer than the latest upper with bloop tube that I'm putting together. My standards are about as low as they come but this upper project is looking really bad. Here's a complete rifle for $307.99. Kind of defeats the do it yourself aspect but certainly fits the cheap category.
For an extra $30 you could get more aluminum and less plastic. Here's a complete rifle for $307.99. Kind of defeats the do it yourself aspect but certainly fits the cheap category.
My cheap barrels arrived today. I was expecting the worst as far as scratches go but they look fine to me. I have an Aero M5 upper ready for a barrel. I am going to try the 308 barrel first.I slept on it for a few days but when inventory got down to one item remaining (308 barrel), I pulled the trigger on these bottom of the barrel, barrels. They were even cheaper than Bear Creek Arsenal. Looks like more ramen and chicken for the next couple of weeks.
$65 308 barrel

I have used RTB parts and receivers in builds. Largely they have been solid. I have noticed that they must cycle through vendors that provide their private label parts, as their have been differences between recent parts and parts I purchased a few years ago.Anybody tried Right To Bear's house products. This lower build kit is $57 shipped.

I've heard that it's best to stick with one manufacturer for AR10 parts since there are no mil spec standards. Maybe that's changed in the last few years.Budget AR10 Stripped Billet Upper $45

I've heard the same thing, which has kind of prevented me from entering the ar10/m5 platform market. These were on sale for $179.99 last month and I almost pulled the trigger on it.I've heard that it's best to stick with one manufacturer for AR10 parts since there are no mil spec standards. That used to be true about a decade ago.I've heard that it's best to stick with one manufacturer for AR10 parts since there are no mil spec standards. Maybe that's changed in the last few years.
Stag & Diamondback AR10's are both Armalite pattern. Both have the slant cut around the castle nut area of the lower receiver:That used to be true about a decade ago.
DPMS patterned AR10's have pretty much become the 'standard' though. I don't know of a single manufacturer making Armalite patterned guns anymore, not even Armalite.
