The pics with the stock on it - are they after the paint job? What type of paint did you use. I don't really NEED another 7mm, but the X-bolt had always caught my eye.

The pic with the stock on it is the Boyd's laminate wood stock. The black stock on the red chair is the painted one (original). I just used a higher end spray can (low shine, almost mat)

I was just looking at a stainless X-Bolt at Bass Pro today. Very nice, smooth action. If my buddy's 30-06 X bolt is any indication, this 7mm is a very accurate rifle. GLWS

I see. I misread the first post, thinking you said you painted the laminate stock. [emoji15]
