I have a Browning A-500 Shotgun that has developed a crack in the wooden fore end. I have not been able to find replacement parts, anyone have ideas?

You can arrest the crack by laying in some fiberglass cloth and epoxy.
Clean the wood with some denatured alcohol after scuffing up the area with some 100 grit sandpaper.
Then fill in the crack with some oil based like colored wood putty.

Superglue. Works even on oil soaked wood.
I use it on all my wood splices. And crack repairs.

Of course all stock work looks easy. But there is a learning curve.
And it can be hard to preserve the overall finish. And make a crack repair.

    Good luck
