Made in 1949
12 Gauge
Elegant Birdseye Maple.
Bores are bright and shiny.
LOP 14 3/4" to decelerator pad.
LOP 13 3/4" to end of wood.
One barrel is 28" with skeet chokes.
One barrel is 30" with top being full and bottom modified chokes.
Pictures tell the story and this is a beautiful shotgun.
One owner before me and it shows, bought from a estate long ago, with the Browning SA-22 Short I have listed for sale here also.
Look at the pictures for a few areas that the wood is splintered, nothing major and has never grown over the years.
One area pictured shows a splinter/fix in the wood by the barrel break lever and again has never posed a problem during my ownership, and truly looks worse in the pictures than it does in person, but I believe in full disclosure.
The skeet barrels have one ejector ear broke, there again pictured and full disclosure.
This must of went back to Browning for the second barrel at some point as they have different addresses on the barrels, but it is obviously factory workmanship.
It is a flawless fit and finish and has serial numbers stamped in all the correct places.
They are both serial numbered to the gun with a 1 and 2 barrel designation.
The skeet was obviously used more and some metal finish is worn around where the wood slides from assembly/ disassembly usage.
The Tolex case is in fantastic shape for its age.
It shuts and opens correctly and latches shut and open as they should.
These Tolex cases demand premium money on there own.
Open to unique items in trade.
Gold and Silver.
