    Yep - look to the left of the ejection port.

    I just checked both of my Hi Powers - '78 Centennial and '91 - they are both external, as well. I think the older ones may be internal.

    I was told 1993-2000. but not all of them.

    All FN/Browning made Hi powers from about 1963 and on have had external extractors.
