By the looks of it, that's a pre-'81 - it's got the older rounded magazine and the receiver sides are recessed inward from where they connect to the stock. I've got one in .308 - love mine. Unfortunately, finding replacement magazines for this is next to impossible for a reasonable price (the current AR mag prices have nothing on these). GLWS...
